Deng Xiaoping
In 1962, Deng Xiaoping, a veteran of the Long March, offers grassroot wisdom as solution to the economic impasse of the Great Leap Forward: "We must make the illigal legal, To quote an old saying from Sichuan province once utterd by Comrade Liu Bocheng, 'It doesn't matter if the cat is yellow or black as long as it catches the mouse.
